JOIN THE JEWISH GENEALOGY SOCIETY OF CLEVELAND

Why join the Jewish Genealogy Society of Cleveland?

You'll be able to exchange ideas and learn with a friendly group of members with interests similar to yours. It will help you learn more about developing your family history, about genealogical research and Cleveland Jewish history.

Our regular meetings are free and open to the public. They are usually held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm at Menorah Park. We welcome guests and prospective members.

These meetings give you a way to learn from interesting speakers (see our calendar) and from  other members, who include amateur genealogists with many years of experience, as well as newcomers learning how to get started.

The Society encourages the collection of genealogical material and family histories.

Members of our Research Committee guide researchers to institutions, websites, and other resources to find genealogical information.

We maintain our own research library and encourage the collection of genealogical material and family histories. We also help out-of-town researchers to locate their Cleveland roots.

Members are automatically added to our listserv email list and can use it to ask questions and exchange information with other members. They also receive The Kol, our quarterly newsletter.

How to join.

Annual Single membership is $25. Annual Family membership is $35.
